Kathy Speaker MacNett recently was a presenter at the National Business Institute (NBI) on "FLSA and Pennsylvania Wage and Hour Law Updates." Her next NBI presentation,"FLSA Essentials: Practically Applying the Most Recent Legal Perspectives" will be on December 20, 2021 at the Human Resources Law Boot Camp. This seminar will cover HR legal issues related to company employment policies and procedures, as defined by employment law's best practices.

In her practice of the law, she utilizes preventive approaches before federal and state administrative agencies and courts. Public and private sector employers are represented in expansive labor and employment law matters related to workers' and unemployment compensation matters, FMLA issues, prevailing wage disputes, discrimination complaints, Affirmative Action audits, restrictive covenant enforcements, handbook preparation, unfair labor practices, union organizational defenses, collective bargaining negotiations, strikes, injunction and contempt proceedings.
