Connie Wilson’s legal career encompasses a diverse set of practice areas related to assisting clients with their business operations, governance and transactions both on a national and international scale. Connie has extensive experience in advising clients on:

Negotiating documents and counseling lenders and borrowers regarding commercial loans and financing

Developing, acquiring, protecting, licensing and selling intellectual property, trademarks, patents, copyrights and software

Establishing business operations and entities domestically and in foreign countries

Operating in compliance with federal and state environmental statutes and laws as well as other statutory and regulatory schemes

Advocating before legislative and regulatory bodies, establishing and maintaining a Political Action Committee and complying with federal, state and local political contribution laws

Selecting, retaining and concluding relationships with foreign business distributors, agents and representatives

Conducting internal investigations

Writing, implementing and providing training on Corporate Compliance policies and issues, including import/export laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act

Managing employment and compensation issues. Prior to joining SkarlatosZonarich, Connie worked for a national law firm and held several in-house legal positions including Associate General Counsel for AMP Incorporated/Tyco Electronics, In-House Legal Counsel for TransCore LP and Corporate Counsel at Gannett Fleming, Inc. She also served as Assistant Counsel at the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.
